Technical Committee TC-102 of the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE) in collaboration with California State Polytechnic University are pleased to announce the 3rd International Symposium on Cone Penetration Testing, CPT'14. This event built on the success of CPT'95 that was held in Linkoping, Sweden in 1995 as well as CPT'10 held in Huntington Beach, CA.
The 3rd International Symposium on Cone Penetration Testing will be held at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, May 12-14, 2014.
The theme of the Symposium is the solution of geotechnical and geo-environmental problems using the Cone Penetration Test (CPT). Particular emphasis is placed on the exchange of practical experience and the application of research results through key note lectures and panel-lead discussion sessions. The technical and social program will provide an opportunity for meeting new contacts and an exchange of ideas and experience.
GeoLogismiki, is very pleased to announce the availability of our new CPeT-IT module for the creation of 2D cross sections.
SectionMaker reads typical geotechnical sections from CPeT-IT project files and through the CAD like interface offers all tools necessary to create elegant 2D cross section. (more)
USB Dongle now available
GeoLogismiki is very happy to announce the availability of our new hardware based protection system for our software using a USB dongle. Starting with the new version of CPeT-IT 1.5.5, customers may also order a dongle to unlock our software in any computer they wish (floating license). The hardware based protection system is an add-on to our software based protection system which still remains as the primary licensing solution for all our software. (more)
Guides for In-Situ testing and Cone Penetration testing
GeoLogismiki, in collaboration with Gregg Drilling Inc. and Prof. Peter Robertson, is very proud to announce the availability of the "Guide to In-Situ Testing" and "Guide to Cone Penetration Testing" through our web site. The purpose of these guides is to provide concise guidelines to In-Situ testing and the application of the CPT to the Geotechnical Engineering process. You may obtain a free copy of the guides in PDF file format here.
GeoLogismiki, in collaboration with Gregg Drilling Inc. and Prof. Peter Robertson, is pleased to announce the availability of our new CPT soil liquefaction assessment software, CLiq.
CLiq is more advanced than the CPT section of the current LiqIT software and provides users an easy to use graphical environment specifically tailored for CPT and CPTU data. The new software addresses advanced issues such as cyclic softening in clay-like soils and thin layer/layer transition zone detection. (more)
GeoLogismiki, in collaboration with Gregg Drilling Inc., is very pleased to announce the availability of our new CPTU data presentation & interpretation software.
CPeT-IT takes CPTU data and performs basic interpretation in terms of Soil Behaviour Type (SBT) and various Geotechnical parameters using current published correlations based on the comprehensive review by Lunne, Robertson and Powell (1997), as well as recent updates by Professor Robertson. (more)
GeoLogismiki, in collaboration with Terratek Brazil, is very pleased to announce the availability of our new Seismic CPTU data interpretation software. SPAS 2009 is a simple seismic signal processing and analysis software. It reads seismic data acquired during a CPTUS measurement (or downhole test) and creates the profile of the shear waves velocity (Vs) for that measurement. SPAS 2009 can process left and right signals independently or create an average estimation using both side signals. (more)
StoneC is a software that performs design calculations of vibro replacement.Vibro replacement is an accepted method for subsoil improvement, that is achieved with the installation of large columns of coarse backfill material in the ground, using special vibrators. (more)
SPTCorr is a simple software for estimating various soil properties from the Standard Penetration Test blow count. SPT is a widely and most frequently used in-situ test for geotechnical exploration. (more)
Liquefaction of loose saturated cohesionless soils under the effect of strong ground motion, is one of the most complex topic that the Geotechnical Earthquake Engineer can face. LiqIT is a software for the assessment of soil liquefaction potential based on commonly used field data. (more)
SteinN Pro: SteinN Pro is a usefull software for contacting preliminary settlements calculation below a rectangular footing. All calculations are contacted according to the procedure described in DIN 4019. (more)
SteinP 3DT: SteinP 3DT is a usefull software for contacting settlements calculation taking into consideration the influence of nearby footing elements. All calculations are contacted according to the procedure described in DIN 4019 while the stresses calculation is contacted according to the theory of Boussinesq. (more)
BLogPro: BLogPro is a simple software that will help users to create soil borehole logs specially adjusted for the Geotechnical Engineer. The pages created include the most commonly used input data such as technical log data, stratigraphy data and laboratory test data. (more)
