Project and company information are entered by the user by clicking on the Project information button located on the main toolbar.

Spas 2009 pops up the window shown in the following Figure, for the user to fill in the necessary information. Project and borehole information will be printed out when the user uses the print facilities.

You may enter any text description inside Project, Location and Comments fields. From the above dialog you may also define the unit system you wish to use for the current project (default unit system used is the metric system SI). Changes to the unit system affects the imported data that will be converted to meet the new selection.

If you check the Compress project file checkbox then all the information of the project file (signal data, results e.t.c.) will be compressed prior to saving the project. This will result to a smaller file in your hard disk but in cases where there is a great amount of data the compression procedure can take a long time to be completed.

Using the Company information tab, a custom header can be defined for all the reports created by the software. The header consists of an image and four lines as shown in the dialog below:

Checking the Save info as default values will instruct the software to use the current description headers and logo as the default ones for every new project that will be created.
