Calculation results preview

Basic preview of the analysis can be seen by clicking on the Calculation results tab button on the left of the software main dialog. According to the in-situ data type, graphs presenting Cyclic Resistance Ratio (CRR), Cyclic Stress Ratio (CSR), and calculated Factor of Safety (FS) (or probability) versus depth are displayed. Numeric data are displayed in a table just below the graphs.

The symbols in the beginning of each line indicate:

img_41 Calculated F.S. greater than unity (1.25 according to Erocode).

img_42 Calculated F.S. less than unity (1.25 according to Eurocode).

img_43 Point not tested according to the selected criteria (see chapter 5).

img_44 Point does not conform with model limits

Note that, due to space limitations, all data in the table are displayed with two digits after decimal point.

All numeric data can be exported to XLS, DOC or HTML format, and can be copied to clipboard right mouse clicking inside the table, as show in the picture below:

Basic results of the SPT methods

SPT results preview

SPT results preview

where:

Depth: Depth from free surface where the SPT test was performed.
Gamma: Bulk unit weight of soil.
%FC: Fines content of soil in percent.
u: Pore water pressure due to the presence of G.W.T.
Sigma: Total overburden pressure.
Eff. sigma: Effective overburden pressure at test point.
Nspt: SPT field measured blow count.
N1(60): Corrected and normalized SPT value.
N1(60)cs: Corrected, normalized and adjusted due to fines, value of SPT.
CSR: Fully adjusted and normalized cyclic stress ratio at the test point.
CRR: Cyclic resistance ratio of test point.
F.S.: Calculated factor of safety.

Note

Due to space limitation the CSR and CRR values displayed are truncated. The value of the factor of safety is calculated with the analytical values of CSR, CRR and not the truncated ones.
