Dr. Robertson has over 30 years experience as an educator, researcher, consultant and practitioner specializing is in the areas of in-situ testing of soils, earthquake design of geotechnical structures, soil liquefaction, pile design and soil structure interaction. Dr. Robertson is recognized as an expert both nationally and internationally in the areas of insitu testing and soil liquefaction.
Technical Committee TC-102 of the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE) in collaboration with California State Polytechnic University are pleased to announce the 3rd International Symposium on Cone Penetration Testing, CPT'14. This event built on the success of CPT'95 that was held in Linkoping, Sweden in 1995 as well as CPT'10 held in Huntington Beach, CA.
The 3rd International Symposium on Cone Penetration Testing will be held at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, May 12-14, 2014.
The theme of the Symposium is the solution of geotechnical and geo-environmental problems using the Cone Penetration Test (CPT). Particular emphasis is placed on the exchange of practical experience and the application of research results through key note lectures and panel-lead discussion sessions. The technical and social program will provide an opportunity for meeting new contacts and an exchange of ideas and experience.

USB Dongle now available
GeoLogismiki is very happy to announce the availability of our new hardware based protection system for our software using a USB dongle. Starting with the new version of CPeT-IT 1.5.5, customers may also order a dongle to unlock our software in any computer they wish (floating license). The hardware based protection system is an add-on to our software based protection system which still remains as the primary licensing solution for all our software. (more)

CLiq is more advanced than the CPT section of the current LiqIT software and provides users an easy to use graphical environment specifically tailored for CPT and CPTU data. The new software addresses advanced issues such as cyclic softening in clay-like soils and thin layer/layer transition zone detection. (more)

CPeT-IT takes CPTU data and performs basic interpretation in terms of Soil Behaviour Type (SBT) and various Geotechnical parameters using current published correlations based on the comprehensive review by Lunne, Robertson and Powell (1997), as well as recent updates by Professor Robertson. (more)
GeoLogismiki, in collaboration with Terratek Brazil, is very pleased to announce the availability of our new Seismic CPTU data interpretation software. SPAS 2009 is a simple seismic signal processing and analysis software. It reads seismic data acquired during a CPTUS measurement (or downhole test) and creates the profile of the shear waves velocity (Vs) for that measurement. SPAS 2009 can process left and right signals independently or create an average estimation using both side signals. (more)
